Vipre Antivirus - One of the leanest and most respected AV engines available

Scheduled system cleanings - Once a month we have a system cleanup routine that cleans up the numerous temporary folders tend to become cluttered.

MalwareBytes - Once a day we perform a scan with this powerful anti-malware engine just in case something slips past Vipre.

Team Viewer - Remote support program to allow us to resolve any problems with our offerings and carry out any additional work you have asked me to perform.

Automated Patching - Once a day we scan every machine for known vulnerabilities in Windows and the most popular windows applications such as MS Office, Java, Adobe-Flash-Reader-Shockwave-Air, Skype, Quicktime, Firefox and others. If problems are detected any available patches are then installed.

Frequent System Checks - I am notified if your system runs low on harddrive space or memory.

System Service Monitoring - If you run a critical program like Quickbooks POS I can set the system to notify you any time the program goes offline.

The bottom line is that this program is designed to save you time and money by taking a pro-active approach to system maintenance. If something still happens to go wrong you will receive a 5% discount on our standard labor rate.

Our Managed Services program is $10 a month per computer. This subscription can be paid once or twice a year for 1-9 computers. If you have 10 or more machines we will allow you to pay monthly.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.friesentechnologyservices.com/journal/2011/10/16/friesen-technology-services-is-back.html"><rss:title>Friesen Technology Services Is Back</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.friesentechnologyservices.com/journal/2011/10/16/friesen-technology-services-is-back.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

After a few month hiatus Friesen Technology Services is back. I have since left Lowen IT and have stated working for Applianz Technologies located in downtown Wichita. At Applianz I provide L2 techsupport for their product, manage the data center and provide input on the future hardware that Applianz will use to construct it's appliance.

My plan for Friesen Technology services is to focus on services that I can provide from our office. This means that the number of large onsite projects will be reduced and the focus will instead be on remote support and selling taylored hardware and software solutions.

My new job has been going great but I must say that I am totally exhausted at the end of every day and since I wouldn't be able to take your calls during the work day it would be impossible for me to provide you with quality service. For the time being FTS is pretty much shut down while I work on my next business plan that won't conflict with my new employer. I am thinking of becoming an eBay sales drop off location where you drop off an item you want sold on ebay and we list and ship it for you. Another option is to begin designing and manufacturing LED lighting components for vintage motorcycles.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
