Google Hosted Services

Google now offers both free and low cost options for hosting your e-mail, calendar, and documents with a domain name of your choosing.  FTS has already moved dozens of businesses and schools to this remarkable service.  Our customers say that their favorite features are the shared calendar and the ability to sync everything with a smartphone.  If you would like to know more about this service feel free to contact us.

Spam filtering for your Business or School

FTS owns and operates a large enterprise spamfilter in order to provide filtering to our medium to large customers.  With our service you are able to adjust your own filtering levels and your users are able to fine tune their own settings even though this is seldom needed.  Each night you and your users can receive a report about messages that were disinfected and blocked from reaching their mailbox.  If a false positive occurred they can simply click on the message in the report and it will be released.  Setting up this service is easy and only requires you to modify your MX Record to send your mail to our filter and once it is cleaned our filter will send the clean mail to your server.  If you would like a trial or references please contact us and we will be happy to provide them.

Email on the Internet is like a postcard.

On site e-mail server

Many businesses and home users use a mail server that is managed by their Internet Service Provider. When an email is sent, that email resides on the ISP's server until you go out to retrieve it.

In the business world privacy is often a big concern and I am ready to help. I will set up an email server in your office that directly receives all your email. Now, only people in your office have access to your email.

Basically, I create a central mail server for use by everybody in the office. It runs Linux and will run on an older computer because Linux does not need a graphical interface to operate, so those computer resources can be dedicated to processing your email as opposed to simply looking pretty.

And to you, this service means:
No capital expenditure for new computer for an email server.
Unlimited e-mail accounts at no extra charge
Fewer worries about people outside of your organization having access to your email.

And, just in case you're curious about the specifics of what this entails, I would:
Configure POP3 services on Linux
Configure IMAP services on Linux
Configure SMTP services on Linux
Configure anti-virus services to check incoming e-mail for viruses
Configure anti-spam services at the server
Configure free DNS hosting through a third party
Make the appropriate DNS entries.
